My Story

I am a certified nutrition and lifestyle coach who empowers women to achieve their goals through adopting lots of self-love, patience and a gentle curiosity with food.

My passion for a healthy life began a few years ago, when I was forced to face the fact that I had lived most of my life unhappy with my body, and quite unhealthy. On the outside it seemed like I had it all - a beautiful family with two young children and a successful coaching career. On the inside I had lived for years hating my body - often resorting to drastic means to be thin. In my twenties I had gone through periods of anorexia and bulimia, and had felt tremendous pressure to look thin at any cost. I became addicted to sugar and caffeine, and often skipped meals and snacked, rather than eating whole meals. I would go through periods of eating really healthily, but would eventually slip back into my same old patterns. When a series of routine blood tests showed I had extremely high blood sugar, thyroid and breast issues, I knew this was a wake up call and I had to change my life for good this time.

I started juicing greens, began eating lots of raw, fresh fruits and vegetables, and for the first time in my life found my ideal weight through actually eating more than ever! I took responsibility for my own health and healing, and found that my whole life began to flow better. I decided to study holistic nutrition, meditation and yoga, and I put "me" first. 

I now have a diet that is rich in green, living foods and free from processed foods, refined sugars and grains. I feel great and never feel deprived of anything. I still have a sweet tooth and I eat chocolate every day - but I choose to make my own raw cacao treats instead of eating manufactured chocolate bars. I now eat foods that Mother Nature created, and use simply daily practices to keep my health and happiness on track.

I want to share all this knowledge with you! I believe in taking a unique approach with each of my clients, as a "one size fits all" approach doesn't work when it comes to nutrition and health.
